Azerbaijani chess players win in FIDE Grand Prix tournament
Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 26 / Trend , R.Ergun/ Two Azerbaijani chess players gained victory at the last round of FIDE Grand Prix tournament in Elista city of Russia.
Teymur Rajabov won Russian Yevgeni Alekseyev at the tenth round of the tournament. After this victory, Rajabov ranks first with 6.5 points.
Shahriyar Mammadyarov gained victory over Ukrainian Pavel Elyanov.
Vugar Hashimov, who maintained leadership position by the last rounds of Grand Prix tournament, lost Hungarian Peter Leko. At present Hashimov ranks second with 6 points.
