Azerbaijan, Baku, June 24 / Trend , A.Huseynbala/
The Azerbaijani opposition Justice Party applied to the Baku City Administration to get permission to hold a rally in front of the Russian Embassy.
It is planned to hold a rally on July 2, the party's deputy chairman Mutallim Rahimli told Trend on June 24.
"If a fair resolution is not passed on Etimad Ismayilov, we will organize protest actions in front of the Russian Embassy. We will seek to draw attention of the Russian military-political leadership to illegality and tyranny in Etimad Ismayilov's case," Deputy Chairman of the Justice Party Elkhan Shukurlu told Trend earlier.
Etimad Ismayilov was detained by the Russian Federal Security Service officers at Domodedov airport on March 25 while returning from Baku to Moscow. Ismayilov is charged with fraud (article 159.4) and money laundry (article 274/14) in accordance with the Russian Penal Code.
