Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will pay an official visit to Zagreb in late August or early September, 2009, upon the invitation of his Croatian counterpart Stjepan Mesic.
During the visit, the Tajik president will have a meeting with senior leadership of Croatia and sign bilateral papers, the Tajik foreign ministry told Asia-Plus.
The presidents will mull implementation of agreements reached during Mesic's official visit to Tajikistan late May, 2009, the source said.
During the Croatian president's official visit on May 24, 2009 the parties signed a joint declaration on development of friendly relations and cooperation, protocol on cooperation of Tajik-Croatian foreign ministers and Memorandum on mutual understanding between the Tajik and Croatian Trade and Industry Chambers.
