Products of the Ukrainian Company Flint Night, which was distributed by the employees of 40 bulag 85 ltd, have caused mass poisoning at the secondary school of Sumgayit, Azerbaijan city, Assistant to the Sumgayit City Prosecutor Ahmed Mammadov told Trend .
On Oct.23 the company's employees have distributed to pupils crackers and chips to advertise their products at secondary school No.38.
Some 45 pupils of secondary school were hospitalized with a diagnosis of poisoning. After the first aid the children were discharged from hospital.
The police have taken employees of the company distributing crackers to the Sumgayit City Police Department to testify and sent products for examination.
The investigation would identify the culprits and in the case of evidence of their guilt, they will be prosecuted under the relevant Article 200 "Deception of consumers or the production and sale of substandard products" of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
