Sentence was made to officials of Azerigas JSC accused of appropriating money.
The chairman of Azerigaz's Agjabedi district gas operating department was sentenced to three years and six months imprisonment. The employee of the department Oktay Hasanov was fined in amount of 500 manat.
The workers of Azerigas are charged under article 179.2.3 (misappropriation and embezzlement), 308.1 (misuse of official position), 309.1 (overstepping authorities), 313 (falsification of official documents) of the Criminal Code.
