Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 22 / Trend K.Zarbaliyeva /

An Azerbaijani court postponed a trial process to consider appeals of the imprisoned bloggers Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade.

Baku Appeals Court Judge Gail Mammadov postponed the trial process to consider appeals of the imprisoned bloggers to Feb.5, due to absence of bloggers' lawyer Isakhan Ashurov. The lawyer appealed to the court with a request to postpone the process as he is ill and can not participate in the process.

Milli and Hajizade were accused of Article 221.2.1 (On Hooliganism) and Article 127.2.3 (Deliberately Causing Minor Harm) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.

The Baku Sabayel District Court sentenced Milli to two years and six months in prison and Adnan Hajizadeh to two years in prison Nov. 11.
