The trial of the soldiers accused of a heinous crime has begun in Azerbaijan.
Soldier Abdullayev Zahid Ahmedaga oglu, serving in the Azerbaijani Military Ministry's military unit in Lankaran, was charged with Articles 126.2.2, Article 330.2.2 and Article 330.2.3 of the Criminal Code.
The accused stabbed Sergeant Vugar Huseynov who was saved thanks to timely medical assistance.
Abdullayev was detained by military police.
