Azerbaijan conducts important measures in the formation of public service, the Presidential Administration socio-political department head Ali Hasanov said.
"Since 2001, Azerbaijan has entered a phase of transition to public service. An army of Azerbaijani professional civil servants has been formed. Azerbaijan implements important measures to create a system of civil service on the one hand, and prepare future public servants on the other hand," Ali Hasanov said.
June 23 has been declared a professional holiday of civil servants upon the decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev May 25, 2006.
The country implements state policy to improve staff working in public service, " Ali Hasanov said.
"Educating of the young generation, increasing of professionalism of civil servants, achieving of a level, meeting the requirements of our society, are the main areas of the implemented policy", Hasanov said.
