The Azerbaijani State Commission for Students Admission holds the entrance exams of 2010/2011 academic year for the Azerbaijani universities on the third group of specialties.
The entrance exams take place in Baku, Nakhchivan and Sumgait. The commission allocated 48 buildings for holding exams in Baku, 6- Sumgait and 3- Nakhchivan. The commission involved 2,289 teacher-supervisors and 235 exam supervisors in the examinations.
About 33,316 entrants take part in the entrance exams on the third group of specialties. Of them 30,187 have graduated from the Azerbaijan sector and 3,129 - Russian sector, 9,227 are the guys and 24,089 - girls. Of them 16,876 people graduated the school in 2010 and 15,732 - in the past years. About 162 entrants are foreign citizens and 231 persons already have a higher education. The eldest of the entrants is 71-year old and the youngest - 15-year old.
