Azerbaijani Press Council shortens 'blacklist'

The Azerbaijani Press Council removed several media from its "blacklist" this week. The council opted to remove the media in light of the 135th anniversary of Azerbaijani press.
The process for placing publications on the list are outlined in official documents.
An appellate group at the council proposed removing the select media.
Twenty-six media were taken off the list.
