Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Republic Gulyanag Mammadova become the prize-winner of the Turkmenistan-2010 contest "for contribution to development and intensification of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani friendship and brotherhood relations, masterly performance of the Turkmen and Azerbaijani songs", the Turkmen television channels reported.

Mammadova participated in the gala concert to mark the commissioning of the ordinary objects at the tourist complex "Avaza" on the Caspian Sea in Turkmenistan, which was timed to the 19th anniversary of the country's independence.

The event was attended by the country's leadership headed by President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov, the representatives of the Turkmen parliament, NGOs and diplomatic representations and missions accredited in the country, as well as cultural and art workers, elders and others.

A new park was opened on the picturesque coast of the Caspian Sea. The park was built with the use of engineering innovations and modern technologies of landscape design. A grand marine fountain and coastal amphitheater are the main features of the park.

"The crystal strings of this vast sea "harp" are located 185 meters from the beach - they create a giant screen size with height of 24 meters and width of 60 meters. Holographic images and visual sketches will be projected on it at nights," the local media reported. .
