The National Seismological Service Center of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences informs that an earthquake occurred in the Caspian Sea, 44 km north-east of Siyazan last night at 4:00 a.m.
The intensity of the earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 42 kilometers, was 3.2 on the Richter scale.
No tremors were felt, the information center said.
