Armenia was excluded from the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers EURODOC.

A EURODOC meeting held in Vilnius decided to exclude the organization Ekososium, representing Armenia, in the structure, with a majority vote, the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences said. Ekososium was excluded due to supposed inactivity.
During the meeting Azerbaijan reported on ongoing reforms in the country in the fields of science and youth.

EURODOC is an international federation of 34 national organizations for doctor of philosophy candidates, and more generally of young researchers from 33 countries of the European Union and the Council of Europe. EURODOC was founded in Girona (Spain) in 2002. Since 2005 Eurodoc has its seat in Brussels, Belgium. Its aim is to represent the interests of young scientists and researchers in education, research and professional careers at the European level.
