Latvia's First Lady Lilita Zatlere is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
Latvian First Lady has today visited the Alley of Honor, where she commemorated the Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev and outstanding academic ophthalmologist Zarifa Aliyeva. She also visited a flower festival dedicated to the 88th anniversary of the national leader, as well as the Carpet Center, Latvian ambassador to Azerbaijan Hardijs Baumanis told Trend.
The program of the two-day visit also includes meetings with the Azerbaijani First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Hijran Huseynova and discussion of cooperation prospects in the humanitarian sphere, Baumanis said.
