Border guard Vladislav Chelakh suspected of killing 15 people in Kazakhstan denied his testimony, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported referring to Vladislav's grandfather Vladimir Chelakh.
"Vladislav has completely denied his testimony and told the lawyer that he confessed under psychological pressure," Vladimir Chelakh said.
Vladislav Chelakh's lawyer Serik Sarsenov confirmed this information.
"Vladislav said he had not killed them. He was under psychological pressure," Sarsenov said.
In late May 14 border-guards and one hunter were killed on Kazakh-Chinese border. Later 19-years old border guard Vladislav Chelakh confessed that he killed his colleagues. Chelakh named internal conflicts and clouding of consciousness as the reason of killing his colleagues. The investigation is underway.
