Interior Minister, colonel-general Ramil Usubov visited a military unit of Azerbaijani Internal Troops in Baku, the Interior Ministry press service said on Thursday.
The minister conveyed the greetings of the President, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev to staff and acquainted himself with the service and living conditions of soldiers and officers, as well as the military training at the unit.
Usubov inspected the new helicopter pad, the on-going construction work in the hangar and gave instructions and recommendations expressing satisfaction with the work progress.
Usubov and the Deputy Interior Minister, Commander of Interior Troops, Zakir Hasanov, then joined staff and soldiers' parents at a dinner.
