Azerbaijani gymnast: Main goal – 2017 World Championship

Azerbaijani tumbling gymnast Mikhail Malkin says he is very happy that his first participation at the World Cup was successful.
Malkin won a silver medal at the FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling in Baku Feb. 19.
"This is the first time I participate at the World Cup. I am glad my first performance at such competitions brought my country a medal," Malkin told reporters in Baku.
The gymnast also expressed gratitude to everyone who came to support him.
"I will continue preparing for the next World Cup but the main goal is the World Championship, to be held in November in Bulgaria,” he added.
The second day of the new Olympic cycle’s first World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
The finals in men’s and women’s individual and synchro pairs programs in trampoline gymnastics and tumbling are taking place Feb. 19.
