Shopping festivals are necessary for both young and experienced people involved in applied arts, said member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, Honorable member of the Union of Artists of Georgia, laureate of the Union of Draughtsmen of Azerbaijan, laureate of the International Symposium on Ceramics Mir-Teymur Mammadov in his interview with the Baku Shopping Festival’s website (www.bakushopfest.com).
He noted that the positive impact of this kind of festivals is the attraction of tourists to qualitative and inexpensive products.
The artist said that competently thought out event, carried out by professionals can bring financial profit.
“And, of course, it can be developed in attracting tourists from all countries,” he added.
Mir-Teymur Mammadov said that despite the fact that he does not personally participate in such events, he tries to help the organizers of such events in every possible way.
“Only as an exception I can give my products for charitable purposes. In every possible way I help the organizers of such exhibitions with a charitable purpose with advice and involving young performers,” said Mammadov.
