SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, May 6. The first international food festival in Shusha demonstrates unique traditions of Azerbaijan and world nations, well-known Dominican culinary Samuel Arturo Mendez Morel told Trend.
"Festival makes a most pleasant impression and leaves vivid emotions from most diverse cuisines of world and interaction between people. I discovered Azerbaijan as a special country with colorful nature and architecture, delicious national cuisine and especially friendly people,” culinary said.
Culinary also described Shusha as a city with amazing mountains, clean air and a very positive atmosphere.
The first international food festival was organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency.
Culinary experts from Germany, Austria, China, France, Georgia, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Turkey and Japan will familiarize the guests with the cuisine of their countries at the festival from May 5 through May 8.
Various economic regions of Azerbaijan, including Absheron-Khizi, Baku, Mountain Shirvan, Ganja-Dashkasan, Lankaran-Astara, Central Aran, Nakhchivan, Karabakh, Guba-Khachmaz and Shaki-Zagatala, are being represented at the festival.
An art program with the participation of more than 100 masters of art will be presented to the guests. Performances, concerts and exhibitions will be organized in pavilions located in recreation and entertainment sites.
