The ombudsman of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova will go on a visit to Lund, Sweden, from 22 August till 31 August 2005, the press service of the ombudsman's office told Trend.
The visit will take place at the invitation of the Human Rights and the Humanitarian Law Institute named after Raul Vallenberg.
The Azerbaijan’s ombudsman will hold a number of meetings with representatives of the non-governmental organizations (NGO) both in Lund and in Stockholm, the capital city of Sweden within the framework of the visit, aimed at the exchange of experience in the field of Human Rights Institutes.
Suleymanova is expected take part in the workshops and roundtables involving the Swedish experts.
During the visit Suleymanova will be accompanied by 5 workers of the ombudsman’s office.
