GEORGIA’S PROSECUTOR OFFICE PROBABLE TO FILE A SUIT ON WILLFUL LEAVING OF AZERI SOLDIERS FROM MILITARY UNIT

“The Military Prosecutor will more scarcely bring an action on the willful leaving of a group of solders Azerbaijani by origin from one of the units of the Georgian Defense Ministry,” Elkhan Polukhov, the spokesman for the Georgian embassy in Georgia, told Trend .

“The investigation into the case is underway. As of last statement by the representatives of the Georgian Military Prosecutor Office, the lawsuit on the case will be filed any case,” the Azerbaijani diplomat underlined, noting that the soldiers were not returned to the unit and no measure of punishment was used in respect them.

The same time on Thursday the Georgian Defense Ministry made a resolution on transfer of 10 military of Azerbaijani nationality, to the base located near polygon in Osiauri.

Ten soldiers, Azerbaijani by nationality, willfully left the military unit, located in Dedopliskaroy district of Kaheti region, on 10 October.

The military went to the Ombudsmen�s office to meet with Ombudsman Sozar Subari. The soldiers explained the reasons for their escape with terrible conditions, stating that they did not feed them even.
