The ombudsman of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova attended the investigation prison and police departments of Bilyasuvar and Salyan provinces, the ombudsman’s office told Trend.
Suleymanova took part in the opening of the jail’s individual buildings, where the under age children, women and other are confined, got familiar with the conditions of inmates, held talks with them. She also got acquainted with the situation on the prisoners’ rights defense and voiced hope that the efficient activities in this respect will be carried on.
