Smoking weed would make the world a 'better place', says Kirsten Dunst!

( news.sawf.org ) - Kirsten Dunst may be in a spot of trouble with parents, especially after saying that the world would be a "better place", if people smoked weed. And, what makes things worse, is that the actress has also admitted to a British mag that she has tried drugs.

"I drink moderately, I've tried drugs. I do like weed. I have a different outlook on marijuana than America does," The Sun quoted her, as telling the mag. The Spider-Man star, who returns as Mary Jane Watson in the third sequel, also seems to allege that weed smokers were "geniuses", like the astronomer Carl Sagan. "My best friend Sasha's dad was Carl Sagan, the astronomer. He was the biggest pot smoker in the world and he was a genius," she said.

Dunst also insisted that her view on smoking weed was far different than that of her fellow countrymen and women, and claims that smoking pot would help make the world a better place.

"I've never been a major smoker, but I think America's view on weed is ridiculous. I mean - are you kidding me? If everyone smoked weed, the world would be a better place," she said. However, the actress insisted that that her support for weed should not mean that people are "stoned all day", for it can also hamper one's creativity. "I'm not talking about being stoned all day, though. I think if it's not used properly, it can hamper your creativity and close you up inside," she said.
