Leader of Caucasus Muslims Invites Kuwait Officials to Visit Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku / Т corr S. Aghayeva / Shahin Abdullayev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kuwait, reported on 18 April that the dialogue between civilizations, prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, co-operation within the framework of international organizations were discussed by the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Clerical Port (CMCP), Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh, and the officials of Kuwait during Pashazade's recent visit to the Country.

Clerical leader of the Caucasus Muslims met with the Minister of Justice and Religion of Kuwait, Abdullah Matuh, the Minister of the Chancellery of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nasir al-Ahmad al-Sabah, and the Prime-Minister of the country, Sheikh Mohammad al-Sabah. "The sides stressed the high level of the relationships between the two countries and peoples and voiced their confidence to strengthen them," the Ambassador said.

Pashazadeh invited Abdullah Matuh and Sheikh Nasir al-Ahmad al-Sabah to visit Azerbaijan. He also reminded the Prime-Minister of Kuwait of his Azerbaijani counterpart, Arthur Rasizadeh, to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan. The invitations were accepted.

Pashazadeh has been on visit to Kuwait since 18 April. He is accompanied by the Patriarch of All Georgia, Iliya II, and the Bishop of the Caspian and Baku Eparchy, the Confessor Alexander. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the neutralizing impact of the globalization on national values.
