Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. S. Aghayeva/ Elmira Suleymanova, Azerbaijan's Ombudswoman, is expected to pay a visit to the Vietnamese Capital of Hanoi since April 25 till April 28, 2007, where the Tenth Conference of the Association of Ombudspersons of Asia will be held, a source in the Azerbaijan Ombudswoman's Administration has said.
The forthcoming Conference will be organized by the Vietnamese Government and dedicated to the role and tasks of institutes of Ombudsmen in ensuring and protecting human rights.
Participants of the forthcoming event will discuss issues connected with the fulfillment of Ombudspersons' recommendations in the combat with corruption, as well as in reforms as a whole.
During the forthcoming Conference, the Azerbaijani Ombudswoman is expected to deliver a speech to the topic - "The Role of Ombudsperson in the Improvement of Governance".
