Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Huseynli / The Azerbaijani Archaeology and Ethnography Institute at the National Academy of Sciences has reported that experts of the institute will visit mass graves in the region of Guba and begin the second stage of excavation.
New equipment for further investigation has been bought by funds allocated by the Finance Ministry. More digs are expected to be held during the excavation
Results of the first excavation held by the institute at the mass graves in Guba were released at the end of April.
The remains found in this region belonged to people killed by the Armenians in 1918.
