Singing Spice Girls reunion tracks ‘freaked’ Posh out

( news.sawf.org ) - When Victoria Beckham sang new 'Spice Girls' reunion tracks after nearly 10 years, it was altogether a very terrifying moment for her. The wife of football ace David Beckham says that singing for the band again made her feel extremely nervous.

"It's been so many years since I've done any singing it freaked me out," the Mirror quoted her as telling about the 'Spice Girl' comeback. Victoria told the paper that the songs were recorded at Olympic Studios in Barnes, South West London.

"This mic was put in front of me and I was like 'woah'. It was surreal being back in there," she said. "I always said I wasn't ever going to sing again and I really didn't expect to. But once I got going it was fun," she added.

Speaking at the Glamour Awards, where she won the Entrepreneur and Woman Of The Year gongs, Victoria said that the new songs were so different that they impressed all her bandmates.

"The new songs are a progression of the old Spice stuff - nothing radical and still poppy but a bit different. We are all impressed with them," she said. Posh, however, insisted that the well-being of her family will always remain her priority over big projects. She also explained the reason behind her rejection of a sprawling Hollywood mansion.

"I never wanted a huge place. In LA you get these mansions with 15 or 20 bedrooms - why do we need that? David's away a lot with his football and I don't want to be knocking about some enormous place with different wings for each of my kids!" she said.

"We wanted somewhere cozy with lots of outdoor space for the boys to enjoy the LA weather," she added.
