Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend К.Ramazanova / According to a World Bank report, by 2025, one-fifth of the population will exceed 65 years in age in nine countries of Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union countries, including Azerbaijan.
In compliance with the report, Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union countries, including approximately twenty-eight countries, are facing the danger of rapid aging. If the necessary measures are not taken in the health and pension spheres, these factors will be the key cause of an economic crisis in the country.
