(femalefirst.co.uk) - Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow is on crutches after undergoing surgery on her knee. The actress is taking time out of filming her latest movie Iron Man after she fractured her right knee. Paltrow's spokesperson has confirmed to website TMZ.com that she underwent arthroscopic surgery.
Paltrow's breakthrough performance cane in Se7en in 1995 followed by Emma in 2006. Only two years later sje stared in Shakespeare in love for which she won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
However since her Oscar win her acting career has almost come to a halt.
In December 2003 the actress, who was formerly engaged to Brad Pitt married Coldpaly frontman Chris Martin. In May 2004 Paltrow gave birth to the couples first child Apple.Her second child Moses two years later.
