The regulatory and legal framework of the Alat free economic zone (FEZ) will boost the inflow of direct investments, Chairman of the Board of Alat FEZ Valeh Alasgarov said in an interview with Trend.
According to the chairman, this document and the infrastructure created in the free economic zone fully complies with international standards.
“The regulatory and legal framework provides for the regulation of the activities of the governing bodies of the FEZ, as well as investors and companies that will carry out their activities there. In addition, all local acts on the FEZ will be based on this document,” said Alasgarov.
The chairman of the board said that each potential investor will be allocated a certain area of the FEZ territory to start work and build facilities.
The construction of road and other infrastructure on the territory of the free economic zone will be carried out by its administration, that is, without involving outside companies, he said.
Entrepreneurial activity in the Alat FEZ will be carried out in accordance with the license issued to this or that entity, he said.
According to the chairman of the board, a customs checkpoint will be created on the territory of the FEZ to increase the import and export capabilities of manufactured products.
“The creation of this infrastructure is one of the most important tasks in attracting foreign companies to the FEZ and increasing the export potential of manufactured goods,” he added.
