Azerbaijan's export amounted to $3.1 billion in January 2022, the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication told Trend.
According to the message, Azerbaijan's export of non-oil products increased by 59 percent or $86.2 million for the year and reached $232.2 million.
The export of fruits and vegetables reached $52.8 million in January 2022, which is by $15.8 million more compared to January 2021.
Azerbaijan’s export of ferrous metals and tools increased by 10.2 percent, cotton yarn - by 34.5 percent, sugar - by 24.1 percent, chemical products - by 9.2 times, cotton fiber - by 56.4 percent, aluminum, and aluminum products - by 56.5 percent during the reporting period.
The export of food products increased by 31 percent ($60.2 million) while non-food products - 71 percent ($172 million) in December 2021 compared to December 2020.
According to the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, the biggest importers of Azerbaijani non-oil products are Russia, Turkey, Georgia and a number of other countries.
