BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 2. The loan portfolio of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Azerbaijan was estimated at 833 million euros as of August 1, 2022, Trend reports, referring to the Bank.
According to EBRD, the loan portfolio is designed for the implementation of 33 projects.
EBRD noted that the main share of the portfolio (88 percent, or 736 million euros) is allocated for sustainable infrastructure, 8 percent or 66 million euros - for industry, commerce and agribusiness, and 4 percent or 31 million euros - for financial institutions.
Meanwhile, the Bank has invested more than 3.6 billion euros in Azerbaijan on 181 projects.
EBRD has been cooperating with Azerbaijan since 1992 and is the leading investor in the country.
