BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. Azerbaijan completed harvest by 98 percent, Trend reports via State Statistic Committee.
Some 2.85 million tons of crops were harvested from 936,500 hectares. Currently, the average grain yield is 30,4 quintals.
Azerbaijan harvested 1.092 million tons of barley, 1.731 million tons of wheat and 26,200 tons of other grains from the fields.
Harvesting of grain and leguminous crops (excluding corn) has been fully completed in 23 districts of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The highest grain yield in the country was recorded in the following districts: Hajigabul (44,7 quintals per 1 hectare), Barda (44,3 quintals), Tovuz (42,8 quintals), Sabirabad (42,6 quintals), Tartar (40,9 quintals ), Saatli (40,7 quintals), Agjabadi (40,4 quintals), Aghdam (40,3 quintals), Samukh (40,0 quintals), Imishli (39,4 quintals) and Beylagan (37,7 quintals).
Most of the grain and leguminous crops (excluding corn) were produced in Jalilabad (192,300 tons), Kurdamir (135,100 tons), Fuzuli (125,700 tons), Agsu (115,600 tons), Agjabadi (113,800 tons), Ismayilli (110,700 tons), Bilasuvar (96,700 tons) and Sabirabad (93,100 tons) districts.
