BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4. The construction of small hydro power plants in 5 locations and substations in 3 locations on the liberated lands of Azerbaijan is ongoing and will be completed in the coming months, Baba Rzayev, president of "Azerenergy" JSC ", said, Trend reports via hiss article, published in the "Azerbaijan" newspaper.
According to Rzayev, more than 400 km of 110 kilowatt double-chain power line equipped with fiber-optic cable has been commissioned in the liberated territories. In total, 4 hydro power plants, 10 digital substations and 1 regional digital control center for 22 power facilities were built and put into operation.
"In order to achieve the goals set by President Ilham Aliyev for the next two years, "Azernergy" will connect liberated territories to the general energy system of Azerbaijan and provide them with sustainable and uninterrupted energy as soon as possible. The work is underway to create large-scale sources of new power generation in these regions," he said.
