BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 23. The new development strategy of Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank will be developed on the basis of customer focus, Deputy Board Chairman of PASHA Bank Bahruz Naghiyev told Trend on November 23.

According to Naghiyev, it’s planned to start taking concrete steps to develop a new strategy for the bank from January or February 2023.

"This strategy will cover global trends in the banking sector. Besides, the strategy will mainly be customer-oriented, that is, we’ll strengthen support for our customers in all areas of our banking services,” he said.

“Currently, work is underway to analyze these issues and we can say that we have already have developed a model of a future strategy, the discussions of which are planned to be started as early as January-February next year," added the bank’s representative.

The corporate segment is one of the bank's priorities. The loan portfolio of the bank in the first half of 2022 amounted to more than 2.5 billion manat ($1.4 billion), and assets - to over 7.4 billion manat or $4.3 billion (an increase of 15.7 percent).
