BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 13. Azerbaijan's consumer price index (CPI) increased by 13.8 percent from January through March 2023 against the same period of 2022, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Trend.
Food, beverage, and tobacco prices went up by 17.1 percent, while non-food products – by 12 percent. Meanwhile, paid services rendered to the population rose by 10.6 percent.
The country’s CPI in March 2023 grew by 0.7 percent compared to the previous month and 13.6 year-on-year.

Azerbaijan's CPI increased by 13.9 percent from January through February compared to the same period of the previous year. Prices for food, beverage, and tobacco grew by 17.3 percent, while non-food products – by 12.2 percent. Meanwhile, paid services provided to the population increased by 10.6 percent.
The consumer price index in February 2023 was 101.5 percent compared to the previous month and 114.1 percent compared to February 2022.
