BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. Propylene production amounted to 75,200 tons from January through May 2023 in Azerbaijan, which is 66.7 percent higher compared to the same period in 2022, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of the country, the production of propylene in the reporting period of 2023 amounted to 67,200 tons, which is 58.1 percent more compared to the same period of 2022.

Azerbaijan produced 134,700 tons of propylene, 134,700 tons of polyethylene, 139,800 tons of ethylene, 194,700 tons of iodine, 5.4 million cubic meters of oxygen, 534,500 tons of methanol and 23.4 million cubic meters of nitrogen in 2022.
Azerbaijan produced 146,400 tons of propylene, 164,700 tons of polyethylene, 168,400 tons of ethylene, 167,500 tons of iodine, 9.6 million cubic meters of oxygen, 378,200 tons of methanol and 22.4 million cubic meters of nitrogen in 2021.
