BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Türkiye reduced exports of steel products to Germany from January through July 2023 by 2.6 percent (509.8 million) compared to the same period last year, the Turkish Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
In July of this year, Türkiye raised its exports of steel goods to Germany by 9.8 percent ($65.6 million) over the corresponding month in 2022.
Additionally, the $8.3 billion in exports of Turkish steel products from January through July 2023 fell by 37.8 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
In general, Germany imported from Türkiye $1.2 billion worth of steel products in July this year, which is 27.2 percent less than in July last year.
Türkiye has exported $16 billion worth of steel products over the past 12 months (from July 2022 through July 2023).
