BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 26. The total number of transactions using Azerbaijan's Epoint e-commerce platform has exceeded 448,900, co-founder of Epoint startup Hasan Hasanov told Trend.
He stated that the average transaction value is 66.65 manat ($39.2).
Hasanov emphasized that the total number of registered clients is now 889.
In 2022, there were 219,600 transactions, with an average price of 63 manat ($37.06) and a total turnover of 13.8 million manat ($8.1 million).
According to the objectives of the "CBA Digital Payments Strategy for 2021-2023," the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) aims to increase the share of non-cash payments made with payment cards in the country to 48 percent.
Furthermore, the strategy envisions a 75 percent market share for contactless payment cards.
