BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 1. The activities of Azerbaijan's Pirallahi Industrial Park, managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency, contribute to the development of the pharmaceutical industry, meeting the population's need for medicines, stimulating local production, and employment, Trend reports via agency.
According to the agency, seven business entities with an investment capital of more than 121 million manat ($71 million) have been granted resident status in the industrial park, and two of them have already started production activities.
The industrial park has made products worth 53 million manat ($31 million) to date.
The agency emphasized that up to 41 million manat ($24 million) have been invested in the Pirallahi Industrial Park, creating more than 150 permanent jobs.
Additionally, existing projects are expected to attract more than 76 million manat ($45 million) in investments and create more than 400 jobs.
To note, the Pirallahi Industrial Park was established in 2016 by a decree of the head of state.
