BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. The office of a joint Azerbaijan-Uzbek investment company has been opened in Tashkent, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on X, Trend reports.
“The activity of the company based on joint investment will raise cooperation in the sphere of mutual investments to a new level,” the publication reads.
The minister also pointed out that in the early stages, the company, which has its fingers in up to 15 projects, will ramp up its efforts to spread its wings and foster mutually beneficial investments, boost the private sector, and ignite the entrepreneurial spirit.
“Successful investments will lead to the launch of innovative ventures, the creation of new jobs, and the long-term expansion of our economies,” Jabbarov added.
To note, an Uzbek-Azerbaijani business forum was held in Tashkent on 22 August.
