BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Azerbaijan plans to re-evaluate its water resources, as outlined in the “National Strategy for the Efficient Use of Water Resources,” approved by President Ilham Aliyev, Trend reports.
According to the strategy, hydrological and hydrogeological studies will be conducted to reassess the country’s water resources. The process will involve the digitalization of monitoring stations, enabling real-time data processing and advanced risk modeling.
This comprehensive evaluation aims to develop a clearer understanding of Azerbaijan’s water resources, factoring in the impacts of climate change. The revaluation will lay the groundwork for more sustainable water management practices across the country.
