Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / The Azerbaijan State Real Estate Registration Service registered 68,195 documents in the first eight months of 2007, according to the Service. A total of 20,708 documents were registered primarily (5,610 documents for land lots, 9,825 for flats, 3,900 for private houses, and 1,373 for other property varieties).
Another 37,085 documents were registered secondarily (11,230 for land lots, 18,373 for flats, 5,655 for private houses, and 1,827 for other properties).
Within the first eight months, the State Service received 10,402 appeals for registration of mortgage property, 649 for land lots, 6,259 for flats, 2,392 for private houses, and 1,102 for other properties.
The State Real Estate Registration Service is a body implementing state registration of property.
