Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend U.Ismayilova / The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development appealed for information on cost of service to be rendered by consultants in the construction of private power stations, Heydar Babayev. The Azerbaijan Minister for Economic Development, said on 29 October.
"Tender has been held and proposals are under consideration," the minister said.
On 24 September the Ministry concluded with Korean KEPCO an initial deal on construction of a 700 MW private power station in Azerbaijan in Alat village, outskirts Baku. The amount of investments in the project is estimated to $750mln - $1bln. Thos power station will produce 1 KW electricity and use 230-250gr of fuel.
Tender on selection of consultant on the organization of the project was closed on 10 October.
