Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 January /corr. Trend S. Aliyev/ The State Railway of Azerbaijan (ASRA) has increased the number the carriages in the trains, in all the routes within the country, Nadir Azmemmedov, the head of the Press Service of SRA stated on 10 January.
According to Azmemmedov, due to the bad weather conditions which hinder the flow of traffic, there is an increase in the number of passengers in the railways and it necessitated the increase of the carriages.
According to Azmemmedov, the number of suburban electric trains has slightly decreased. It is due to the construction of a new overpass not far from the hotel Exelier as a result of which the electric trains arrive and leave not from the railway station as before, but from the station near the Meshadi Azizbeyov metro station. The number of electric trains has decreased from 18 to 12. After the construction of the bridge is complete, the number of the trains will be increased again.
