( dpa ) - Russian energy monopolist Gazprom has come to an agreement with Ukraine in a pricing dispute, stopping escalating gas cuts to the country.
"Restrictions on delivery of gas on Ukraine are being lifted," Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov said.
Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and Ukraine's Naftogaz chairman Oleg Dubina on Wednesday agreed by telephone on a solution to the crisis, Kurpiyanov said.
