Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 May / Trend corr S. Babayeva/ In the first quarter of 2008, GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan (NAR) rose by 21.8% from the same period of 2007 to AZN 126mln, NAR permanent representation in Baku reported.
Production of goods in that period made up 44% or AZN 55.3mln of GDP, services - 53% or AZN 67mln, net tax for production and import - 2.9% or AZN 3.6mln.
In January to March, additional value in the industrial field comprised 24% (AZN 30.2mln), agriculture - 6.6% (AZN 8.2mln), construction - 13.4% (AZN 16.8mln), transport - 4.2% (AZN 5.3mln), communication - 3.3% (AZN 4.1mln), wholesale & retail trade, as well as repair of automobile, different domestic equipment - 22.7% (AZN 28.5mln).
