Georgia Demands to Toughen International Mesures Against Countries to Hold Thalassium with Abkhazia

Georgia, Tbilisi, 25 June / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Georgia will appel to the International Sea Organization in the case of establishement of thalassium between Russia and Abkhazia. This was said to journalists by Irakliy Taktakishvili, Georgiam Economy Minister.

Recently, Russian media has released the information about a sea comet will operate between Sochi and Gagra from 1 July. Similar voyage had been implemented in 2007, and delivered Russian tourists to Abkhazia.

"We demand to toughen control over the ships, which will launch thalassium with Abkhazia. Abkhazia is an international closed zone for shipping," Taktishvili said.
