Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 November / corr Trend N.Ismayilova / Daughter branch of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) in Moscow has won the International Bank Award 2008, the bank said.
According to results of 2008, IBA-Moscow was awarded in the category "Bank with foreign capital, contributing in the development of Russian economy".
This award given to IBA-Moscow is not only appreciation which expresses the opinion of members of the Expert Council, which selects the best of the best among pretenders, but also testifies for the correct development strategy chosen by the bank.
The basic goals of the International Bank Award are to raise the public image of the Russian bank system, offer real users the objective, simple and clear guidelines in formation of clientele, to give additional openness and transparency to the bank system and to form elite of the bank field. This award is an original Mark of Quality, given to the capital and regional banks annually. Jury defines the winners of each category after the consideration of relevant materials submitted by the Award Expert Council.
The gala ceremony which coincided with the Russian Day of Banker, involved the senior representatives of the state and government authorities of Russian Federation, heads of federal departments, VIPs at the major Russian credit and finance establishments, prominent public figures, scientists and chiefs of the leading media outlets.
