BHP Billiton Ltd., the world's largest mining company, said Graeme Hunt, the president of its uranium division and the man in charge of expanding the Olympic Dam mine, will leave the company at the end of March, Bloomberg reported.
Hunt, who has worked with BHP for 34 years, won't be replaced, said Samantha Evans, a spokeswoman for the Melbourne- based company. The restructure was part of a staff reduction as the mine goes through environmental approval processes.
"It doesn't signify any change in the project," Evans said.
